GO Racing – logo design

A good friend of mine is struggling to get his business on the road – he’s selling scooters and parts. In an attempt to help out, I’ve designed a logo for him:

Turbomecanica – corporate website

I’ve just launched the new website of Turbomecanica, a local source for aeroengines and helicopter dynamic systems.

It is WordPress based (currently version 2.3.3), with a customized theme to display certain interface elements. It is page-centric, rather than post-centric, since they needed a presentation website but with an easy to use interface for adding news.

For page navigation, I’ve devised a custom tree / list menu, that I animated with the use of MooTools. It unfolds on the different levels of the site’s structure.

Svetlana Studio – business card & flyer

After making this logo, I got to make a flyer and a set of business cards fot the same client. Website still to come.

Fragrance Shop – logo

I was asked to make a logo for a perfume shop, in order to be used as a company logo. This is the version that was accepted.

The colours were already chosen by the client, I just had to come up with a graphic concept. Below are two more versions of the logo (I did six in total):

I will also have to make business cards, shopping bags, product labels and a website some time in the near future.

Svetlana Studio – Logo design

Svetlana Studio is a nail art studio. They needed a new identity, so I came up with this logo.

The basic idea behind this logo is to have a brush stroke writing, to suggest the act of artistic creation and a strong, modern type, to suggest modern, state of the art facilities.
The writing is also supposed to look like an artist’s signature, with the hint of a nail shape. A visually appealing, vibrant colour was chosen, similar to those used on nails.
This logo was accepted. I will be making a website pretty soon, so stay tuned.

Easter greeting cards (2006)

My mother asked me to make her an Easter e-card that she would send everyone, so I did, and used it myself as well. If you would like the PSD file to add your own text, drop me a line and I’ll send you the source file.

“Las Troyas” Poster

This is an A3 sized poster for the show “Las Troyas” (formerly known as “Queens”). “Simple, yet extravagant” was the requirement, and the whole project was done with the client by my side, so I didn’t have much creative freedom or time to spare.

ONO Racing Team – logo & website drafts

A acquaintance came to me asking for a website for his motorcycle racing team. He also needed a logo to start with. This was my idea: write ONO to make it look like a simplified motorcycle drawing. It’s a rough sketch, but you get the idea.

The version I sketched was not accepted, and with the client by my side, I did another version to his exact specifications. I also started work on a website draft, thate came out looking like this (a few hours work):

However, due to an argument between team members, this project was dropped only a few days after it started.

Winter greeting cards (2005)

These were made for a counselor of accounts of the Romanian Court of Accounts. I did several versions, some of which are below.
